8 months ago Øyvind Skoe operated and removed a large varicose vein from my thigh. I had put this operation off for 27 years as I was scared. Turns out there was nothing to be scared of. Everything worked out much better than I had expected. I healed well with barely any scarring at all. The difference is amazing: I no longer have pain or pressure in my thigh, and can participate in activities that I was unable to before.

Øyvind instilled confidence in me. Even though I was nervous and sceptical, Øyvind was kind, competent, and humourous. The nurses were excellent, caring and funny, too. Joking helped me through and they joined in when I made it clear that’s what I needed.

Øyvind said that he also sees beauty in the veins that are removed. That was an incredible turning point for me during the operation. What a beautiful thing to think and say! It instantly increased my bravery, trust, confidence, and ability to relax as it proved to me that he is truely connected to what he does. I was suddenly no longer squeemish, and was able to watch.
